I heard the news today

Couldn’t  believe my mind went hollow

It can’t be true a word the say

Some things you just can’t follow

We sang so many songs,  still do

So let’s not give up trying

Let’s ride along this carrousel

It’s much too soon for crying

 

Yes I know that nothing in this world will last forever

I’m much too clever

If it’s not much to ask, is there something left in store

Is it possible to enjoy this a little bit more

 

Many years ago

We started our road to glory

And on our way to fame

We told a bonding story

Now you have to face the music

For sure you will stand strong

This  rocky road will pass

And we still sing our songs
